Coaches comments:

The coaching staff is extremely proud of the effort given by the team Friday night against Indio.  Facing a school with 2400 kids, roughly three times our size, and outplaying them,  it was truly an awesome performance.  It was extremely important for our seniors to go out and get a homecoming victory.  After their first drive, we were able to make a few adjustments and control their offensive running game.  Indio had 95 yards in the 1st quarter, after that they were only able to get 30 yards on 22 carries.  Key defensive standouts were Emmons with 12 tackles, Hester with 10, Leopoldo with 8, Coghill had 6, Hannam had 5, and Robinson had 3.  Palmer had 3 outstanding interceptions, and Randle finish off the Rajahs with a great one handed interception in the final minutes.

 Offensively, Lampkin had his best game since Desert Hot Springs.  He scored twice from 18 yards out and ran well.  Palmer had 4 outstanding catches, and Carpenter got 2 balls, including a crucial 2 point conversion.  Aliosio and Corney both played well at quarterback. The two combined to go 5 of 11 passing on the night.  It was a total team victory, and hopefully it will lead to three more.
