Team Stats - Total offense 29 Palms 189 yards, Beaumont 188 yards


Coaches Comments, This was a heartbreaking loss. We felt like we should have won this game. We seem to be just one or two plays away from victory each night. We had a few opportunities to go ahead 21 to 18 in the fourth quarter but were unable to punch it into the endzone. There were a couple of questionable calls which did not go our way. Without a holding penalty, we would have had 1st and goal at the 7 yard line. After looking at film it did not appear to be a correct call. I felt the kids gave an outstanding effort all night long, and kept the double wing offense contained. We held Beaumont to 145 yards rushing on 45 carries, limiting them to only 52 yards in the 1st half. Individually we had several outstanding efforts. Once again Emmons led the team in tackles with 16, Campese had 6 tackles, Hester and Randle each had 4. Receiving Palmer continues to be on of the best in the county notching 6 receptions for 154 yards. Aliosio is improving each game at Quarterback, and has a bright future. Indio will be a strong test for homecoming, but we feel like we can contain them defensively. Our offense needs to have a strong showing this week.
